Jubilant Joy
We both have different roads to take
We both have different views on life
We both have different Journeys to make
We both have different havens to reach
But with each step my feet take
My hand reaches to search for yours
My heart fears it is a noble mistake
But your smile always reassures
But sometimes words of heart don't come to fruit
And I move ahead with happiest grief
I take solace that perhaps en route
That I might see you again even in brief
But with a bitter heart of jubilant joy
I give you my gleeful goodbye
I know you are now not here to coy
But the farewell is so I can say with a sigh
I move on, and bliss I employ
