Jubilant Joy

We both have different roads to take We both have different views on life We both have different Journeys to make We both have different havens to reach But with each step my feet take My hand reaches to search for yours My heart fears it is a noble mistake But your smile always reassures But sometimes words of heart don't come to fruit And I move ahead with happiest grief I take solace that perhaps en route That I might see you again even in brief But with a bitter heart of jubilant joy I give you my gleeful goodbye I know you are now not here to coy But the farewell is so I can say with a sigh I move on, and bliss I employ
